Maddie Newcomb is the Extension Office Associate for our Agriculture and Natural Resources program. Growing up in a small-town farming community in Wyandot County, Maddie’s passion for the agricultural industry was sparked at a young age. In high school, Maddie was involved in the 4-H and FFA programs where her projects included raising dairy feeder calves, market swine, market broilers, and working in a greenhouse for 3 years. Maddie also participated in a variety of contests in FFA including leading the Upper Sandusky FFA Chapter’s Agronomy Judging Team for 4 years, Urban and Rural Soil Judging, Area 1 Envirothon, Forestry Judging, and more. In May of 2021, Maddie graduated from The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in Agricultural Business Management. Maddie currently resides in Fayette with her husband, Travis and son, Emery.
