Person In Charge ServSafe Training

Upcoming Class!

Do you work in food service or with food responsibilities? You could benefit and meet requirements for your employer by taking a food protection Person-In-Charge (PIC) Course.

Ohio State University Extension will offer this course on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 9 am – 4 pm.

The Ohio Uniform Food Safety Code requires that all food facilities (established after 2010 or under new ownership since then) have a person-in-charge (PIC) working at all times.  To be a PIC, an employee should understand food safety procedures that relate to the operation.  This class will teach food safety principles needed in the daily practice of the food service establishment.

The class will be held at the Robert Fulton Agriculture Building, OSU Extension, 8770 State Route 108, Wauseon, OH 43567. There is a small fee of $50.00 per person which includes the ServSafe Coursebook and certificate. Register at go.osu.edu/PersonInCharge2021 or by calling the Ohio State University Extension office at 419-337-9210.
