2025 4-H ROYALTY ANNOUNCED
The Fulton County 4-H Program is pleased to announce the following 2025 4-H Royalty. Sixteen applicants vied for these positions and participated in a variety of evaluations including a written application, interview, and knowledge test. Congratulations to the following teens for a job well done.
The 4-H King and 4-H Queen receive a $250.00 scholarship for education beyond high school. This award is in memory of Pam and Don McQuillin’s daughter Tonia who died in 1993 after a five-year battle with cancer. Tonia was a very active member of 4-H and was the 1989 Fulton County 4-H Queen.
Ella Mishka: 2025 4-H Queen
Ella Mishka is the daughter of Phil and Erica Mishka. She has been involved in 4-H for 11 years and has shown Goats, Dogs, Poultry, Rabbits and Sheep. This year she wanted to try something new, so she will be participating in a Dairy Feeder Calf project. She has also completed a considerable amount of still projects including multiple woodworking projects, multiple sewing projects, and an archery project. A couple of her favorite memories from 4-H are when she served as a camp counselor for 4-H camp and was able to help the campers with anything they didn't know how to do, another of her favorite memories are the very first time she got selected as the State Representative for her Sew Fun Project and got to participate in judging at the State Level. She especially loves when she gets to help members understand their project better and learn more about themselves along the way.
Derek Zeiter: 2025 4-H King
Derek is a homeschooling highschool senior and an active 12 year member of Goats and "Udder" Things 4-H Club, where he is currently serving as his club's Historian. Derek is a 6 year member of the Fulton County Junior Fair Board and was a member of Teen Leaders. Derek takes many projects to fair such as dairy goats, pack goats, rabbits, dogs, ducks, chickens, geese and many still projects. As an avid showman, Derek has won many showmanship and breed classes with his dairy goats at open shows.
The 4-H Horse Queen receives a $250.00 scholarship for education beyond high school. This award is sponsored by the Fulton County 4-H Horse Council.
Harlie Hensley: 2025 4-H Horse Queen
Harlie will be entering her junior year of high school. At Wauseon High School, she serves as the President of the Class of 2027, Vice President of the school’s FFA chapter, and is a member of the varsity soccer team. She spent two years as a Cloverbud in 4-H, and she is in her eighth year as a youth 4-H member. Harlie is a member of the Fulton County Hoofbeats where she currently serves as club president. Harlie has spent the last eight years contesting with her horse, Kit, and has started showing pigs and sheep in recent years. Some of Harlie’s greatest memories have been at the Fulton County Fair. Playing football in the outdoor arena with kids and advisors from all clubs after a long day of showing, riding the golf cart around the Ohio State Fairgrounds, and placing at state are just a few of her favorites. There have been many ups and downs along the way, but she remains extremely grateful for the opportunities that have come her way. Harlie would like to thank Liz and Polly for their support, knowledge, and friendship, to her family for supporting her chasing her goals, and lastly her horse, Kit for working hard for her every day and truly being a girl’s best friend.
Raymond Forrest: 2025 Horse King
Raymond Forrest finds a loving home with his grandparents, Ray and Shelly Jackson, where a passion for 4-H and the fair thrive. The annual fair is a highlight in Raymond’s life. Horses hold a special place in his heart, and he dedicates his time to learning horsemanship. Riding is more than a hobby—it's a connection. The Fulton County Fair holds so many good memories for him. He loves the food and rides, but more importantly he loves being able to show his horse and make such good friends. He hopes that everyone else will have an amazing time at the fair this year.
Species ambassadors receive a $200.00 scholarship for education beyond high school. This award is sponsored by the Fulton County 4-H Endowment fund.
Leah Mishka: 2025 4-H Dog Ambassador
Leah Mishka is the daughter of Erica and Phil Mishka and has been a member of her 4-H club, Goats and Udder Things for 11 years. Leah enjoys showing all her 4-H projects at the Fulton County Fair which include dog, poultry, goat, rabbit and various still projects. Some of Leah's favorite roles in 4-H are helping other 4-Her's succeed with their projects, serving as an officer for her 4-H club, and serving as a past Junior Fair Board Member and Camp Counselor. Some of Leah's favorite 4-H achievements include winning the Outstanding Species Exhibitor Award for goats (2024 and 2020) and poultry (2022). Some of Leah past royalty titles include 2024 4-H Queen, 2023-24 1st Runner Up Fair Queen, Dog Ambassador, Goat Ambassador, and Poultry Ambassador. She is an FFA member and officer, and a National Technical Honor Society member. Leah is home-schooled and also attends the L.I.S.D. TECH Center Agri-Science and Natural Resources program. Leah is a 2025 senior, and plans to attend college to become a veterinarian. Some of Leah's hobbies include working on her latest art project and building her small business. Leah is very excited and honored to represent the 4-H program for 2025!
Breah Teal: 2025 4-H Goat Ambassador
Breah is a 15-year-old sophomore at Wauseon High School who excels academically and in extracurricular activities. She shows both market and pack goats and is passionate about promoting youth involvement in agriculture. Breah takes pride in caring for her animals and sharing her knowledge with younger exhibitors and the public. She is an active member of FFA, currently serving as chapter historian. This is her 7th year participating in 4-H, and she is a member of the Pike Kounty Kids Club.
Breah maintains honor roll status and is a well-rounded student athlete, playing softball, volleyball and a cheerleader during basketball season. She also plays travel softball for the NWO Thunder 16U team along with subbing for the Michigan Monarchs. Breah is known for her hard-working nature, positive attitude, and willingness to take on new challenges. She is excited to represent the Fulton County Fair as this year's Goat Ambassador and looks forward to another successful fair season.
Alyssa Marvin: 2022 4-H Lamb Ambassador
Alyssa Marvin is the daughter of Brian and Samantha Marvin. She goes to Evergreen High School where she plays soccer, softball, and is a member of the marching band and FFA. She takes breeding sheep and market and breeds rabbits. She spends most of her time with her sheep as she and her brother go to sheep shows on the local, state, and national levels. Alyssa is also the Ohio Merino Queen and president of the National Junior Merino Association. She is the treasurer of the Gainers and Leaders 4-H Club that she has been a member of for eight years. She also loves promoting wool and sheep any way she can. In her spare time, she can be found reading or listening to music.
Molly Elvey: 2025 4-H Poultry Ambassador
Molly is a 16 year old 4H member in the club Chesterfield Feeders and FFA member through Evergreen High School. Molly owns chickens and turkey and sells meat and eggs to her community. Molly has shown Poultry for 5 years winning showmanship every year and Grand Reserve in 2023.
Maddy Chase: 2025 4-H Rabbit Ambassador
This will be Maddy’s 4th year showing a rabbit at the Fulton County Fair. Last year she had the Grand Champion Market Roaster, won 12 year old showmanship, and was the outstanding market rabbit exhibitor. Maddy also enjoys traveling the country showing in ARBA rabbit shows.
