  2. Person in Charge (PIC) Training

    Mar. 12, 2025 8:30am to 4:30pm

    The Person in Charge (PIC) Certification is a one-day food safety training which meets Ohio Department of Health training requirements for food service employees as well as those opening an establishment for the first time.  The PIC program enhances employee understanding of major food safety principles. This interactive program includes several hands-on activities, handouts and a certificate of completion. Register Here!

  3. ODA State Testing

    Feb. 27, 2025 9:00am to 3:00pm

    The OSU Extension office in Fulton County will again be a host site for those interested in taking initial pesticide license tests or adding categories (commercial or private). ODA also offers a test for adding Category 15 (fertilizer). To register for a test, date and location, you must visit the ODA website Schedule Exam & Results | Ohio Department of Agriculture

  4. Private Pesticide and Fertilizer Recertification (PAT)

    Feb. 26, 2025 8:00am to 12:30pm

    The OSU Extension office in Fulton County will be holding a Private Applicator Recertification on February 26, 2025.  Basic Information:  $10 - Fertilizer Recertification (Category 15): 8:00 am - 9:00 am $35 - Pesticide Recertification (Core,1,2,3,4,5,6): 9:00 am - 12:00 pm $45 - BOTH Fertilizer & Pesticide Register Here!

  5. Level 2 ServSafe Food Safety Manager Training

    Feb. 05, 2025 8:00am to Feb. 06, 2025 5:00pm

    The Food Safety Manager Certification program, (Level 2) uses the ServSafe® 7th Edition and provides food service managers, operators, and owners with accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food. The principles learned in this course can easily be applied and practiced by all food service workers. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a ServSafe® Certification and an Ohio Food Protection Certification from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

  9. 4-H OYO, Photo Contest, Scholarship, and Camp Counselor Applications DUE

    Dec. 15, 2024 (All day)

    4-H Older Youth Opportunities, Scholarships, and Camp Counselor Applications are due on December 15! The 4-H Photo Contest submissions are also due on this date. 

  10. Quarterly Farm Meal

    Dec. 05, 2024 5:00pm to 8:00pm

    Join us on December 5, 2024, for the inaugural "Quarterly Farm Meal," brought to you by OSU Extension and Fulton County Farm Bureau. Hosted by Genter Farms in Archbold, the event kicks off with networking at 5:00pm followed by dinner at 6:00pm. This informal gathering is a great opportunity to connect with our local agriculture community. There will be updates from OSU Extension and Farm Bureau, along with a presentation from the host about their farm! You do not need to be a Farm Bureau member to attend, but we do ask that you RSVP to ensure an accurate guest count for catering purposes.
