ServSafe Manager Training has become the industry standard in food-safety training and is accepted in almost all U.S. jurisdictions that require employee certification. This training is provided using the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe curriculum. Topics for the sessions include basic food safety practices as well as further information on microorganisms and principles of the HAACP system.
The Food Safety Manager training program provides food service owners, managers and or employees/staff accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe and an Ohio Food Protection Card from the Ohio Department of Health.
The ServSafe Food Safety Manager training is being offered by OSU Extension, Fulton County at the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center, 8770 State Route 108, Wauseon, Ohio 43567. The registration fee is $200 nonrefundable and includes the book, training materials, lunch the second day, snacks and exam. You must attend both days (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) to take the exam.
